Throughout 14 years of my clinical practice, I have sought to empower both women and men to achieve their optimal health goals through natural medicine, nutrition and lifestyle management.
In 2010, I graduated with a first-class degree in Chinese Acupuncture from Middlesex University in the UK. I also hold a diploma in manual lymphatic drainage from the Dr Vodder Academy, Austria.
As a full-time practitioner, I see people with many different health conditions: migraines, menopause issues, PMS, fatigue, fertility problems, chronic pain, ADHD, depression, IBS and cancer, among many others.
Acupuncture treatments have brought many benefits for my clients’ health, especially to those who committed to regular and consistent treatment. However, treatments can only do so much. My experience
from many years of practice has convinced me that diet, nutrients, eating habits and lifestyle form one of the most – if not the most – impactful way to restore and maintain optimum health and vitality at any age, with any acute or chronic health condition.
Our bodies need the correct balance of nutrients to function optimally. Dietary deficiencies might be the source of many health problems, as can excess calories from food. Additionally, stress, pollution, environmental toxins, inflammation, infections – or a combination of all these factors – deplete essential nutrients and disrupt natural equilibrium. Body imbalances start to show through different "unexplained" symptoms which, if left untreated, lead to chronic diseases and premature aging.
This realisation fired my enthusiasm for delving deeper into studying nutrition and functional medicine, and to gain more tools to integrate in my practice. I hold a Functional Nutrition Diploma from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION), and completed the Functional Medicine course with the Institute for Functional Medicine IFM, US. I am fully qualified nutrigenomics nutritionist, experience in the use of Lifecode Gx nutrigenomics testings.
Combining the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine with nutrition and functional medicine has expanded the treatments I can offer. After comprehensive investigation of your medical history, signs and symptoms, analysis of gut microbiome, individual genotype (nutrigenomic panels) and blood chemistries, I provide health optimising personalised diet and lifestyle plan, and support you until your health goals are achieved. My aim is to treat the imbalances of the body and mind and restore equilibrium in a sustainable and effective way. Focusing on the root causes of illness, not merely on the symptoms, unlocks the body’s innate intelligence to heal and to reach optimum health and vitality.
